RICK SHADDOCK, left, Scott Foster, Andy Tarr and Dave Rought, members of Troop 208, sponsored by the First United Methodist Church were awarded Boy Scouting's highest rank at a recent Holiday Court of Honor and Parents Night. Perinton Troop Gains Four More Eagle Scouts Except for minor differences, Troop 208's newest Eagle Scouts have a lot in common.  All are excellent students. Rick Shaddock, Scott Foster, and Andrew Tarr are seniors at Fairport Central and winners of State regents Scholarships.  Dave Rought is a junior. All share a fondness for sports.  However, Dave has served as manager and Rick is on the varsity gymnastics, track, and soccer teams and is current Monroe County and Section V tumbling champ. Scott is also on the varsity track and soccer teams. All are excellent campers.  Andy served on the Massaweepie Camp staff last Summer. Andy's Eagle Project involved advertising, collecting and delivering items of value to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service of the Veteran's Hospital in Canadagua. Rick, Scott and Dave all planned, supervised and participated in projects in the new Parinton Town Park off Garnsey Rd., which is being developed as an arboretum for town use. Former Scoutmaster Zacharie   Grose presented Scott's Eagle and congratulated Dr. and Mrs. Glen Foster, Scott's parents. Assistant Scoutmaster Harold Rought, also an Eagle winner, presented his brother, David with his award.  Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rought made it a family affair.  Mel is a member of the Troop Committee with 45 years continuous service in scouting. Larry Brunelle, Troop Committee Chairman, who has worked closely with Rick Shaddock on his Eagle project, presented him with his Eagle.  Dr. and Mrs. Warren Shaddock, Rick's parents, took part in the ceremony. Of the 30 Eagle winners to date from Troop 208 since 1945, more than 20 are still active in some phase of scouting; 19 of whom are still registered with the Troop.
