Shaddock, Warren M., DDS Rochester: Predeceased by first wife, Gloris M. Shaddock; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Frederick Shaddock; his sister, Helen Rockwell and his brother, Frederick Shaddock, Jr. Warren is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; his sons, Robert (Mary) Shaddock, Frederick (Oksana) Shaddock, III, David (Heliena) Shaddock; step-daughter, Kimberly (Paul) Cusker; step-son, Jason (Shannon) Godshaw; grandchildren, John (Morgan), Charles (Matt), Kendra, Lukas, Jackson; brother-in-law, Gary Wind, as well as extended family members. Warren passed away peacefully from Hodgkin Lymphoma, at home while on Hospice Home Care, the day following his 94th birthday. Warren served in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific as an Ensign on the USS Calvert APA 32 and at ADCOMPHIBSPAC at Pearl Harbor. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 0771 since 1955. Warren enjoyed going to Honor Flight Mission 10 to Washington, DC in 2010 and riding in the Veterans convertible caravan on Memorial Day in Fairport for many years. He graduated from Hobart College in 1947, the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1951, and practiced dentistry in Fairport for 42 years. He served as president of the Monroe County Dental Society and the Seventh District Dental Society. He was inducted into fellowship in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He was honored by the Seventh District Dental Society with the prestigious George D. Greenwood Award in 1985 and the Award of Merit in 2016. He received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Honor Award in 2013. Warren volunteered as a dentist once a week, on his day off, at the Episcopal Church Home for 25 years. He served as the treasurer of the New York State Dental Society's PAC for 40 years. He was also a member of the Fairport Rotary Club for over 60 years and one of the founders of Camp Haccamo, a camp for handicapped children. He was a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. Warren has been a member of Monroe Golf Club for over 60 years and over the past several years has been an honorary member there. Warren's passions were his deep faith, profession, chocolate, golf, travel, monthly luncheons with special friends from various groups, butter, family times, and love of country. A kind and gentle man, who was honest, dedicated, and respected. Warren will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
